Purchase a Temporary Card in Store

• A Temporary Card is the initial prepaid card you purchase with cash and load with an amount between $10 and $500.
• This card is included in the package you pick up at the store. Note that Temporary Cards are not reloadable.
• Use this Temporary Card until your Personalized Card arrives in the mail (usually in seven to 10 days).

Activate Your Temporary Card

Before you can use your card, you need to activate it. To activate your card, call 1-866-601-8091, or log in. Once you've activated your card, you can log in to check your balance, register for your Personalized Card, and start earning rewards points.

Register for a Personalized Card to Earn Rewards

• A Personalized Card has your name on it and replaces your Temporary Card.
• Your Personalized Card can be reloaded by using either direct deposit (free) or by purchasing a ReCharge Card.
• With a Personalized Card, you can earn rewards points with Fred Meyer Rewards^® no matter where you shop.

To register for your Personalized Card, call 1-866-601-8091, or log in. You'll receive your Personalized Card in the mail in seven to 10 days.
